Baby Norris’ Classic Winnie the Pooh Nursery
We are having a little girl. She is due May 8th, 2022, but I found out I will be induced on April 19th. EEK!
I have known since I was pregnant that I wanted to do the nursery in Classic Winnie the Pooh. Not all the bright Disney Pooh colors, but the muted more neutral storybook colors. Once we found out that she was going to be a girl, I started adding in touches of flowers, greenery, whicker, and slight feminine details. (Not too much pink though.)
Originally I wanted Winnie the Pooh Classic wallpaper. Cory, my husband was like we are not spending $300+ on wallpaper that will be a pain in the butt to rip off of the walls in a few years. I was slightly, actually REALLY disappointed at first. BUTTT then I realized that he was right and we ended up doing this beautiful green that I picked out at Lowes with a board and baton/wainscoting on the main wall of the nursery. We stuck with white for the remainder of the walls to keep the room bright and clean. I knew that I would be adding frames and shelves as well eventually so I didn’t want to busy up the room too much.
I captured the nursery from the very beginning on my phone as we were working on it. I ended up including those in my Youtube video I will link HERE along with the finished video of the nursery so you could see it from start to finish (once the video is uploaded). I love watching rooms transform and I thought it would be so neat to look back on after it was finished.
I included as many links that I could find below, just to make it a bit easier for you to find any items you may be looking for!
The armoire and Dresser were found at the local Goodwill and Attic Window for under $75 total about 6 years ago and I painted them both brown and finished them with an off white crackle paint from Lowes.

The Changing Mat cover below, is from Caden Lane. It is actually a crib sheet, but I wrapped it under the changing pad from buy buy Baby and made it fit.
The crib is from Pottery Barn
The mobile was found on Ebay, I just was not loving the new mobile on amazon and finally found an older model that was still in the box. YAY! I ended up taking the little animals off of the mobile, because I didn’t like it on the crib.
